Couldnāt agree more. I find that this is overlooked far too often in an effort to āprogressā and then people end up having to backtrack for months instead of making this a priority from day 1. Swelling shouldnāt be termed ānormalā for any athlete past the early stage of an ACL R

Evidence keeps failing to back up the electrolyte/dehydration theory of muscle cramps. But the new theories don't tell us how to avoid them. Here's some new data that (again) implicates muscle damage, and suggests strength training as a countermeasure. outsideonline.com/2416514/muscleā¦
