Genuinely the truth is you probably need Corbyn involved to get a new Socialist party off the ground but for it to then to succeed you'd probably need to ensure he wasn't elected leader of the party once it was up and running. (and it does hurt me to say it cause I do love Jez)

I’ve long felt the problem with a new left party is it wouldn’t have a huge disciplining factor that Corbynism had between 2015-19 of contending for state power, competing for 10-15% doesn’t have the same effect, it doesn’t hold people together. Obviously I hope I’m proved wrong
