I am delighted to share that Cancer Grand Challenges Challenges have announced funding for 5 new teams - KOODAC, MATCHMAKERS, PROSPECT, PROTECT, and SAMBAI. They’ll be tackling some of the biggest questions in cancer research. Read more on their projects here 👇

Team SAMBAI is thrilled to be chosen by Cancer Grand Challenges to tackle global cancer inequities. Ready to get to work with Melissa B Davis, PhD and the rest of the team!

Thank you Ali Stunt 💜🇺🇦, Ricki Fairley and all patient advocates 🙏 Excited to start #SAMBAI Cancer Grand Challenges and work with such a great team to reduce cancer inequities! Very excited to be part of team SAMBAI. This represents the largest single NCI/CRUK award for cancer inequities ever. For Yemaachi Biotech to be one of 2 African partners (and the only biotech) responsible for centering large part of this work in Africa is both humbling and exciting.

Can't wait to get started Sheeba Irshad !!

Scientists at King's have been chosen by Cancer Grand Challenges to receive up to $25m over 5 years to take on two of cancer’s toughest challenges. The teams PROSPECT and SAMBAI will advance progress in early-onset cancers and cancer inequities. Find out more ⬇️ kcl.ac.uk/news/two-teams…

Today we celebrated the vital work our researchers are doing with a visit to our research unit at King's College London, which is focused on studying triple negative breast cancer. Thank you to all who attended and to King's College London for hosting us.

Countdown to the first patient summit of its kind, the Make 2nds Count secondary breast cancer conference starting tomorrow. Looking forward to learning lots from experts by experience and experts by profession including Carlo Palmieri Lesley Fallowfield #BreastCancer #patientvoice

On the stage now at ##AACRDISP24, our #SAMBAI Cancer Grand Challenges co-lead for Societal and Social Determinants, Lauren E. McCullough presenting on experiences of "the people" of equity research.

We had an incredible launch 🚀of our #SAMBAI PPI event King's College London! Talks by Ricki Fairley, Keerti Gedela & patient advocates highlighted the power of inclusion, patient voices🗣️, and bridging research with those it impacts most. Representation drives better #CancerResearch !
