I had the pleasure to present the results of my first year of PhD at the EMBO workshop on New Frontiers in Host-Parasite Interactions. I must thank the LabEx ParaFrap LabEx programme for making it possible, and my PIs Anna Cohuet, Arthur Talman and David Carrasco.

Insects do have a brain, and we study it! Single cell RNA sequencing on the CNS of Anopheles gambiae is the most thrilling task I've tackled up to now. Check out my most recent results I presented at the Conference Jacques Monod on Insect Models for Infection Biology.

A day dedicated to public engagement! Alejandro Marin Menendez project is this year in the program of #fêtedelascience: 15 IRD.fr scientists went by bike to highschools to discuss about research with students. Alex and I went to Pézenas and cycled for 106 km, I didn't know I could do it 🚲🧬🌟

Happy of having contributed to this reportage on MIVEGEC research with a little dissection of a mosquito brain (you can see it during the first 25 seconds 😊). Enjoy this video about some of our research topics! brut.media/fr/videos/scie…
