Today, Seán Fleming attended the Christening of the United States Ship (USS) Patrick Gallagher in Maine. The ship is named after an Irishman, the late Corporal Patrick Gallagher, who died in 1967 while serving in the Vietnam War. Read more: bit.ly/3LItvDS

Over the weekend, the U.S. Navy christened the USS Patrick Gallagher (DDG 127) during a ceremony in Bath, Maine. The ship’s namesake, Marine Corps Cpl. Patrick Gallagher, immigrated to the United States from County Mayo and joined the U.S. Marines. He received the Navy Cross for heroism
