Did you know? Since 2006, #theeatathon has raised over $200,000 for over 50 Iowa nonprofits. And the returns have nearly doubled the last four years ($9k in '16, $21k in '17, $40k in '18, and $67k in '19). $100k for 2020? Let's do it @kick_forward, Self-Help International, et al!

For those that couldn't join us, icare held the FIRST EVER Zoom Staring Contest to give an additional $100 to one of the nonprofits. Jim Steinberg of Average Everyday Miracles was amazing, but this "Blink seen 'round the Internet" MIGHT have cost his nonprofit the championship:

Pending confirmation, Bruce Ganzer is the Staring Contest winner for Dorothy's House! But all nonprofits won today with icare's donation of $1k to each... $14k total!

$1k checks are in the mail! And icare has officially declared Dorothy's House (Bruce Ganzer) AND Average Everyday Miracles (Jim Steinberg) winners of the staring contest. So an extra $100 each is headed to DH and AEM! Can't wait to cut bigger checks for tbd #theeatathon
