Looking for software recommendations: What is the Cursor for technical and non-technical writing? To be clear, I don't mean which AI model works the best. I looking for the best user experience and product. Something that feels like a writing amplifier.

BREAKING: MIT just completed the first brain scan study of ChatGPT users & the results are terrifying. Turns out, AI isn't making us more productive. It's making us cognitively bankrupt. Here's what 4 months of data revealed: (hint: we've been measuring productivity all wrong)

Announcement! I wrote a book, and it's coming out on July 8th. It's called The Inner Compass, and it's about trusting your intuition in a world that makes you doubt it. I'm so excited to share it with you.

There's a lot to be said on this newest preprint showing that reliance on LLMs in writing tasks leads to a 'consistent underperformance' in neural and behavioral levels with potential long-term consequences. Interestingly, I think this ties to similar but (early)

Unsurprisingly Cyril Zakka, MD says it better than I could. These are the exact concerns I have about the way we are integrating LLMs into clinical care. It *might* not matter, but we are all participating in an educational Pascal's wager right now. A 🧵🔽

The problem isn’t taking AI’s help to fix grammar, punctuation, or spellings. The problem is in taking AI’s help in writing. Writing *is* thinking, and if you delegate writing, you’re delegating thinking.

Paras Chopra (@paraschopra) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Of course, it’s ok to delegate thinking to AI, as long as you’re aware that you’re doing that. But what’s more likely is that you won’t even know how fast AI slop is infiltrating your mind, and soon you’ll start forgetting what was it like to have thoughts of your own.

Our civilization has reached a state (for many decades now) where if there is a blackout of electricity, people can literally die. We will soon reach a similar state when the intelligence goes down (e.g. if OpenAI is not accessible), people could just die.
