Every spring break, SLU's Campus Ministry offers Immersion Programs, with destinations including Mobile, Alabama; Navajo Nation, Arizona; and Los Angeles, California. Participants are challenged to engage with social justice issues that face our world today.

SLU is committed to fostering an academic environment that values free, original, and active educational discovery. In pursuit of that mission, SLU has a 9:1 faculty/student ratio, enhancing student-professor engagement in and outside of the classroom.

Meet Karen! Karen is undergraduate double majoring in International Studies and Spanish. She knew SLU could be her home because of the kind and welcoming people here. As a student, she enjoys being a part of the Table Tennis Club, Chess Team and International Student Federation.

Meet Liz Burke! Liz is an Assistant Professor of ESL here in the INTO SLU program. She says the best part of working at INTO SLU is definitely the students. She values hearing their perspectives and enjoys learning from them just as they do her!

Warren is a graduate student from Taiwan studying Computer Science. After working as a software engineer, he chose to come to SLU to enhance his technical knowledge. Being a part of the SLU community has been a fresh new experience for him and he has enjoyed his time here!
