Encapsulated angioinvasive follicular thyroid carcinoma with a brisk transition into poorly differentiated thyroid carcinoma (PDTC) with trabecular growth and mitoses. PTC-related atypia was lacking. Note the reduced intensity of the thyroglobulin stain.
