Bird and West got to work today wrapping the Factory Five Racing kit car exhaust pipes with some DEI - Design Engineering Inc. wrap. Hopefully this helps prevent the “snake bites” the exhaust pipes are known to give when passengers accidentally brush their legs against the hot exhaust. #rowvastrong

Big changes coming for the shop trailer. Steck laid down some primer to cover the mount for the new winch and tongue box. Next up, some lettering and stencils before the topcoat is applied. Stay tuned! #rowvastrong

Auto 1 students began the disassembly of our 8 inch rear differential out of the 1969 Ford Motor Company Ranchero today. Axles are out, center section is next! #rowvastrong

Wrapping up work on the trailer. Decals are installed and the wheels are painted. It’s come a long way, only a few finishing touches left to do.

We’re covering braking systems in Intro to Auto. Had a great opportunity to inspect and measure brake pads on a faculty members vehicle today. We performed a rotation while the wheels were off, also completed an oil change and complete inspection. #rowvastrong #cte #autoshop
