The news is hopeful that the remaining hostages will be released, whether alive or dead. Obviously never should have been taken in the first place, but they unfortunately were. I don't know if the deal will be lasting based on the terms, but only time will tell.

Was an honor to meet Jack Carr in person for his new book Cry Havoc! If you haven't read his other published works or watched the series on Prime, then you have been missing out. I thought it was cool that within seconds of meeting, we complimented each other's watches.

250 years! Those crazy revolutionaries decided to take on the world's most powerful naval force of the day. We now have the largest fleet in displacement and aircraft carriers, projecting U.S. power all over the globe. Never give up the ship!

Hopefully anyone out there who has the ability can contribute to wiping the medical debt of veterans suffering under the weight of expenses caused by their service. We cannot leave our brother and sisters hanging. #Veterans

250 years ago, one of the greatest fighting forces this world has ever known was born. Happy Birthday to those Grunts, Devil Dogs, Gyrenes, and any other moniker to which they have been referred to as over time! #USMC

To all my brothers and sisters in arms who answered the Nation's call, I thank you for service to our nation. Words are not enough! In the words of Winston Churchhill "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few" #VeteransDay

December 7, 1941: A date which will live in infamy. 84 years ago, the attack on Pearl Harbor thrust the United States into World War II, forever changing our Navy and nation.  Today we remember the heroism and sacrifice of those lost on that fateful day. Their courage echoes

First off, glad the officer was not hurt when this guy's weapon malfunctioned or didn't chamber it. Second, the LP guy big time as he stepped up. Third, that flying knee was it! Could tell he was not expecting to get rushed like that and couldn't fight it.

Yikes! I am glad the VA is covering this for my recent helo trip to the ER. Definitely don't have an extra 69K laying around. I am still not sure it was necessary to be life-flighted, but that was their protocol.
