Department for Education Sir Gavin Williamson CBE MP CYP with EHCP’s are NOT a homogeneous group. My lad is safer at home than at school & is attending all his online lessons. Yet he’s recorded as absent because of your prejudiced & ignorant policy.What message does this give a teen?
Half termly attendance record of a teen with an EHCP who has participated in all his online lessons for the last 6 weeks in his home rather than inside a school building. Sir Gavin Williamson CBE MP ignored my request to explain his prejudiced policy directly to teen.
