A wonderful winter’s walk up The Cobbler (Ben Arthur) and Beinn Narnain (926m) in the Arrochar Alps. We reached the summit of Beinn Narnain at sunset then walked down at dusk into darkness with some beautiful light across the surrounding snowy Munros.

Up on Beinn Dubh today on the Glen Striddle horseshoe, focussing on contour navigation in poor visibility. It’s always good to practice contour interpretation in a new area to keep skills sharp. Light snow flurries and 50m visibility. A covering of snow but plenty of ice. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
