The Innocastle study visit to Flanders started with a visit to the provincial domain #Bulskampveld. The 230-hectare domain is managed by Provincie West-Vlaanderen and functions as a recreational hotspot and gateway to the larger region. Read more: bit.ly/3vTM281

Fascinating and intriguing as always, presentation by Catherine Leonard of International National Trusts Organisation (INTO) about working with local communities and raising the support necessary for ongoing use and protection.
Amazing showcase of all the results obtained so far through Innocastle in Spain, by DiputaciĂłn de Badajoz and Innogestiona Ambiental (IGA). Ranging from restructuring the tax system to creating a full year programme with local communities for the castle used as a pilot action. Congrats to the team!
The last presentation is by the lead partner Institutul Național al Patrimoniului, highlighting the efforts made by the team and the ADR Centru to implement maintainance and interpretation plans for heritage sites, but also to better evaluate the socio-economic benefits of heritage investments.
