Medusa's introduction. This to me is the greatest scene in Ray Harryhausen's career. Pure horror. For best results it's best to watch it as a kid for the first time. Clash of the Titans influenced how Medusa would be portrayed in future media.

And the final showdown. It's a legitimately tense scene. So different from Harryhausen's earlier fantasy movies. I know Harry Hamlin (Perseus) had a lot of problems with the film and shockingly many older monster kids simply don't like it but it's something I never understood.

Love reading about all of these speed running escapades. Invading the Scientology center, one disrespectful but hilarious move at a time. Go kids go!

It's Mohini Ekadashi today, and Moon is with Ketu in Leo. Ideal energy for remembering Mohini, the only female form of Lord Vishnu.. she didn't argue with the asuras, she outplayed them quietly. Don't force outcomes today, just watch what settles when you step back.

Venusian traits are the most visible markers of any civilisation. Without Venus, a society is merely a survival camp. Venus provides the glue that makes collective living desirable: - Aesthetics and Urbanism - Diplomatic protocols and social harmony - Sensory rituals

Dropped acid with a group of friends and went to see this in the theater the weekend it came out in 1979. Terrifying. Exhilarating. 10/10, would experience again.

The greatest success of colonialism was not the conquest of land, but the colonization of our memory. It began when the oppressed began to see history through the eyes of their oppressor.
