All finished. Acoustic boards on the right and floating frame for the TV. There’s some wall unit to go below where the socket is.

There’s nothing more underwhelming than a new version of iOS, but whoever signed off on the changes to Photos needs a word.

Didn’t really give much thought to moving to an internal sec role until it dawned on me the other day, that I’d left pentesting. I still pentest, but there’s a lot more to it and it’s far more interesting. I should have done this first before consultancy.

I've owned used Macbook Pro laptops for the last 10 years, and half floated the idea of buying a new Mac to replace my Windows gaming PC, but oh my goodness, I wasn't prepared for the cost of a new Mac.

Over the years, I've seen increasingly more dud results than ever from tool output. Seeing the whole picture from an internal perspective really shines a light on how bad this has become. Scratching my head as to why things get flagged is a common theme these days.

It's a good idea to form your own conclusions on things. For example, a Herman Miller might not be the best chair for you. Owned an Aeron classic for about 6 months now, and I don't know what the fuss is about.

Not really sure why I tell people I was a sysadmin for 11 years. Experience earned on prem before the cloud makes absolutely no dent in a modern context.

Had this enabled for well over 6 months and see it’s been disabled. So it’s not just for new users. They wiped it out for everyone.

I think there's a lot of pentesters who would benefit from working an internal gig for a bit. It really helps connect the dots and I know from my own experience now, that, I wouldn't report half the stuff I have in the past, or reduce the risk.

Sky Q customers having a riot at the moment with boxes turning off abruptly. Has someone found a kill command on a service port in boxes? Only thing I can think of that would do this to most of the UK’s Sky customers.

Ibanez RG550 Genesis. Made in Japan. I’m sorry Les Paul in the case behind, but you’re getting punted. There’s a new kid on the block and he’s wearing neon.
