Today Green Climate Fund Board approved a $39.1m project submitted by 🇷🇼 through the Ministry of Environment. The project will build the resilience of vulnerable communities to climate variability in Rwanda’s Congo Nile Divide through forest and landscape restoration. #GreenRwanda🇷🇼🌿
We're thrilled to announce that this Monday, we'll officially inaugurate Kaniga climate resilient settlement constructed by Green Gicumbi Project | Northern Rwanda with financial support of Green Climate Fund. This green village will host 60 vulnerable families relocated from high-risk zones in Gicumbi District.
