13 years of a growing community, all for nothing. We are extremely disappointed to hear about this. The iRacing Indianapolis 500 has brought many fans to the sport and has made a fun filled community.

The decision to provide exclusive NTT INDYCAR SERIES use to Motorsport Games, rendering the iRacing Indy 500 defunct, is an incredibly poor decision. One of iRacing’s pillar events, it gave virtual racers the most accurate and challenging representation of 500 miles Indianapolis Motor Speedway to the public.

It’s very disappointing as a team to see the news this morning. Indycar has signed an exclusive license with another developer which all but neuters Indycar content on iRacing. The iRacing Indy 500 is now no longer an official event.

This is a big hit for the IndyCar simracing, at its peak. Indy 500 has been the biggest event in simracing for several years. The community and teams built around it are some of the strongest in terms of engineering and driving. We at IAR are truly disappointed. iRacing

Not today and not this year for the iRacing IndyCar drivers after NTT INDYCAR SERIES decision

The last few days have been painful for the iRacing NTT INDYCAR SERIES community. The overwhelming sentiment from sim racers is this will only hurt us & IndyCar more than it could ever help. 225 members of our (often divided) community have come together to sign this letter to NTT INDYCAR SERIES.
