#TradeFacilitation Agreement Anniversary Event of WTO Shri Vijay Singh Chauhan strongly conveyed the message that India has put in place an effective NCTF, which has delivered on its expectations, including timely fulfilment of TFA commitments.

CBIC is fully compliant with WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement well before the stipulated timeline. This has led to standardization and rationalization of regulatory procedures for cross border trade, thus reducing EXIM logistics costs under the wider program of #PMGatiShakti.

National Time Release Study 2023 aims at establishing baseline performance against National Trade Facilitation Action Plan Target 2020-23 to reduce the overall cargo release time. The findings shall be used towards evidence-based policy making furthering #EODB in India. #NTRS2023

As part of the National Time Release Study 2023, NTRS team will engage with the trade and other stakeholders to gauge the area of priorities for them and understand the bottlenecks in the overall EXIM cargo release process. #NTRS2023

NTRS 2023, being conducted from 1st-7th January 2023 at 15 major ports, will analyse, in great detail, the time taken in movement of transit cargo at India’s land border to identify the bottlenecks in the entire process. #NTRS2023

In accordance with objective of reducing the cargo release time for exports to less than 24 hours for Sea/ICD/ICP and less than 12 hours for Air cargo under National Trade Facilitation Action Plan (NTFAP) 2020-23, NTRS 2023 will analyze the export release time in greater detail.
