Tryouts for club Volleyball should not be allowed to occur until at least October. Having summer tryouts is one of the worst decisions for our sport's culture. Policies need to be made by USA Volleyball and @jrvbassociation to fix this.

Let your kids be coached. Let them get used to coaches holding them accountable. If you save your children from discomfort & hardship, you often keep them from realizing their own strength, abilities. Let them grow their character so they can become confident, independent adults!

Watched lots of 🏀 this weekend Quick Observations: 1) 90% of kids do not LOVE playing the game 2) Most kids do not NEED to be playing AAU club 🏀, they need to train 3) Parents, just cheer on your athlete, it’s not about u, stop yelling at everyone + coaching from the stands

Learning to fight through adversity is a skill that some adults are taking away from this generation of kids. Failing is inevitable & necessary. Without it, growth & learning is impossible. You can’t protect them from it, so teach them how to respond. It’s crucial to success!

The NCAA has officially changed their 'transgender participation' policy effective immediately. I can't even begin to tell you how vindicating it feels knowing no girl will ever have to experience what my teammates and I did. Thank God Trump is back in office.

Growing up "Travel ball" typically meant we might play a few games/tournaments within about a 3 hour drive. In the next two months I will take my daughter to Kansas City, Orlando, Louisville, Indianapolis, and Dallas for club volleyball. Insanity.
