We will have our first players meeting on Sunday, June 30th from 5-6PM in the HS cafeteria. I encourage all players to attend so I can meet the players, introduce myself, our summer program/schedule and expectations/ core values for the upcoming season!

Congrats to Independence senior guard Brayden Ridder on breaking the single season record for 3 pointers made! Previous record holder was Travis Halligan at 56 made 3’s set in the 03-04 season! Well done Brayden! 57 and counting!

Congratulations to Mustang Senior forward Brady Kurt on earning unanimous 2nd team All-Conference. Brady is averaging 12.4 PPG 6.7RPG and 1.6 SPG on the season. Brady was top 7 in the conference in both points and rebounds per game! Well done Brady!

Congratulations to Mustang senior guard Brayden Ridder. Brayden earned Honorable Mention All-Conference. On the season Brayden is averaging 10.9PPG. Brayden led the conference in 3FGM per game and set the Independence school record for made 3’s in a season! Well done Brayden!

Congratulations to Mustang junior guard Dawson Fuelling. Dawson earned Honorable Mention All-Conference. On the season Dawson is averaging 9.1PPG 4RPG 2.6APG. Dawson was one of 4 players in the conference to rank inside the top 15 in all major stat categories. Well done Dawson!

What a game and what an atmosphere tonight at home! Really proud of our guys and want to thank everyone who came out to support them! They deserved this moment and came through when it mattered! Great job all around!. We will travel to Decorah on Thursday. Tip time will be 7PM.

It’s never easy having our season end! I am so proud of all of our guys! We say good bye to our 10 outstanding senior. You guys will be missed. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the program! This group is full of great young men that have very bright futures!

Three Mustang seniors played in the WAMAC all-star game this past Monday at Benton! Brayden Ridder, Brady Kurt, and Crayton Iversen represented the Mustangs vey well! The East won the game on a last second 3 from Brayden Ridder! Great job guys!!!

This past week we held our annual youth summer camp! 43 campers from grades 3rd-8th came in and got better last week! Thank you to all campers for joining us and all the high school players for coaching and providing instruction to our campers! The week was a very good success!
