Half the death toll are children and medical staff. Killing civilians in random explosions would be called “terrorism” if anyone else did it, but when it’s Israel they call it “Hezbollah pager explosions.”

My cousin in Beirut messaged me saying she disconnected her baby monitor and other household appliances and devices. Our people are unaware of which devices are safe and which are not. If this was happening in “Israel” the entire world would be condemning it. It is terrorism.

“Second wave of device explosions” is a lot of words to avoid saying terror attack and avoid saying *Israel* at all.

One of the children killed yesterday in Lebanon, as a result of Israel’s barbaric detonation of pagers, was a relative of one of my best friends. This isn’t a ‘far-away conflict,’ and this isn’t a ‘single policy issue’ — this affects us, our communities and our loved ones.
