Alison Pick is a brilliant #author—one of Canada’s best. Excited that she will host her first #writers #retreat in June! Learning from her expanded my #writing in many ways. Highly recommended. #WritingCommunity #writerscommunity #writersoftwitter alisonpick.com/retreats

Snagged a copy of Good Mom on Paper. Some breathtaking work in here by Dr. Lorri Neilsen Glenn 🇨🇦, @AdellePurdham, Rachel Giese and more. I'm not a parent, but I was extremely moved by these pieces about a world that wants to silo women and how these writers and artists grapple with that.

I can’t say enough about Mirvish Productions’s production of “Indecent.” This is its last week, so HIGHLY recommend seeing it. Thank you Paula Vogel and Studio 180 Theatre for an absolutely brilliant work. I can’t stop thinking about it.

Grateful I read Glenn Sumi’s review of “our place” at Theatre Passe Muraille When I see the 5N rating, I know it’s a must-see. As usual, he was right. Outstanding. passemuraille.ca/22-23-season/o…

The Taliban may lock all the classrooms and university gates in the country — but they can never lock up women's minds. They cannot stop girls from seeking knowledge. They cannot kill the quest to learn. bbc.com/news/world-asi…

A little girl in Afghanistan asking the Taliban — “Is being a girl in Afghanistan a crime? Do you have mothers? Do you have sisters? Do you have daughters? Please don’t turn off the light of knowledge & education on us girls.” 💔
