Congratulations to Courtney Jacques for being selected as one of the semifinalists for the NFTE Youth Challenge! She will be competing in the NFTE Southeast Regional Semifinals in Miami, Florida on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Miami Dade College. Best of luck Courtney!

The Osceola Business Academy hosted the Hispanic Business Council board for their open board meeting. Attendees learned about the Business Academy and opportunities to support the OBA students and families. The delicious lunch was prepared by our very own Chef Alamo's students.

Congratulations to Courtney Jacques (OBA Class of 2025) for being one of the finalists at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Competition which took place in New York City this week.

Congratulations to Ms. Heather Sledge for winning the OBA Hispanic American Heritage Month/September door challenge! Attached is a picture of her door. Thank you to all the teachers who participated in this challenge. We had some amazing door decorations!

We are super proud of Courtney Jacques for participating in the NFTE National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge! She was one of the finalists in this competition which took place in New York City.

Thank you to HCA Hospital for setting up a career pipeline event for our students.  Hospitals offer so many more careers beyond doctors and nurses, and students had the opportunity to rotate through various fields from accounting to culinary, supply chain to radiology, and more!

We had a successful visit from the Florida Institute of CPAs. Students learned a lot about the accounting profession including scholarship opportunities.

Qwalifize Staffing & Consulting passed by the school to provide a delicious treat to the teachers. Thank you to Ms. Walker and her staff for always supporting our teachers!

The director for the UCF Business Incubation Program in Downtown Kissimmee, Ms. Esther Vargas, provided an excellent resume writing workshop to some of our students. Our business partners are always going above and beyond to get our students career ready!

A big shout out to Mr. Alamo for connecting our culinary student with Industry professionals! They had the pleasure of attending a presentation by Disney Executive Chef -Chef Nick- and learned about high end culinary skills. Check out the appetizer creation with dry ice and gems!
