Save the date: Thursday, November 26, 2026! 🦃🎺🥁 Marching Illini will be participating in the 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York next fall. It will be the second time MI will perform in the Macy’s parade — the first time was in 2015.

Astronaut Mike Hopkins, BS ’91, presented to a packed crowd of first-year Grainger Engineering students and others, then visited Matt Hausman’s senior space design class. Hopkins is holding the Flat Alma he had in space as commander on the Crew-1 SpaceX Crew Dragon in 2020/21.
