Celebrating #Kosova16 in Strasbourg, France with Council of Europe ambassadors, alongside Kosova’s ambassador Lulzim Hiseni, and the amazing soloist Marigona Qerkezi, whose magical voice echoed Kosova’s spirit to all ambassadors and friends of 🇽🇰 present.

One more step ✅ Following the approval of the Report by PACE_Political, Kosovo's accession to the Council of Europe will now proceed to @pace_news. We'll continue to work with allies to ensure that all our citizens get their rightful access to CoE instruments through 🇽🇰's full membership.

Today's PACE_Political decision is a major breakthrough on the way to full integration of 🇽🇰 into 🇪🇺 institutions. We worked hard for it, together with many friends. We thank everyone who made this possible. Now we are hopeful that this will be confirmed by PACE in April.

Another important win for human rights, democracy & rule of law in #Kosovo. The overwhelming majority of votes in favor of inviting Kosovo to become a Council of Europe member at the PACE_Political meeting is a good omen for the upcoming PACE vote in April.

Important visit of Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz & Kreshnik Ahmeti to Strasbourg as PACE prepares to take a historic decision in favor of Kosovo's membership in the CoE, to the benefit of all our citizens. Strengthening rule of law, democracy & human rights in 🇽🇰 is in everyone's interest.

Today, PACE Assembly Members are given the opportunity to send a powerful message that Europe stands strong in its commitment to democracy & human rights! Everyone that truly believes in a future that upholds these values will vote in favor of 🇽🇰's membership to the @CoE.

Another phase concluded, another round of overwhelming support for Kosovo to become a Council of Europe member. PACE showed readiness to take a historic political decision in favor of extending human rights protection to all 🇽🇰 citizens. Now all eyes are on Council of Europe Committee of Ministers.

A great day for Kosova, as PACE votes in favor of our application to join the Council of Europe. This is a ringing endorsement of our state's record on human rights, democracy & rule of law, bringing the Republic of Kosova one step closer to full membership.

Kosovo's Minister of Local Govt Administration, himself a member of the Egyptian community in 🇽🇰, is deeply concerned that other non-majority communities are being deprived of access to Council of Europe mechanisms because of ASM. #CoE membership should be to the benefit of all 🇽🇰 citizens.
