What a MESS. My shop has gotten out of control, but I think I have a system in place to help me get it under control. You can try it too! Check it out: buff.ly/4bDskRD

The shop is getting smaller! But in a good way. This week I start the process for building the electronics room that I talked about last time. I'm one-step closer (out of MANY) to getting the shop where I want it to be. buff.ly/454qFli

I really needed to slow down, step back, and regroup for this one. But I'm so glad that I did. The electronics room is on it's way. Check out the progress so far and stay tuned for the final result! buff.ly/454qFli

Greetings, programs! I finally have a room for all of my electronics and 3D printing needs, and I’ve themed it after one of my favorite movies: TRON. With a little bit of Arduino work and a lot of LEDs, it makes me feel like I’m IN the movie. Check it out! buff.ly/3Xsa2OL

Six-year-old me would be VERY happy to have a room like this. My TRON-inspired electronics room is complete and I have really been enjoying it. Check out the full build video! buff.ly/3Xsa2OL

I love it when I can take a tool and improve it to fit my specific needs. Lately I’ve needed something to make it easier to film in tight spaces when I’m working on the Karmann Ghia and this week I think I finally found a solution! Check it out! buff.ly/3zpdU9p

It’s been great to spend more time in the garage working on the Karmann Ghia, but I always find myself dealing with heavy gear and difficult camera positions. Well now I’ve taken a great camera and found away to make it even more versatile for my workflow. buff.ly/3zpdU9p

I have WAY too many crayons. I wanted to find a good use for them since my kids don’t use anymore. So I decided to revisit candle making—something I haven’t done since college. Well. Mistakes were made, but so were candles. buff.ly/4cXvn7o

I learned a lot on this one. Like how to make candles. Also how not to make candles. And that Snorlax is now my favorite fire-type 🔥 buff.ly/4cXvn7o

Pool floats, how hard could they be to make? It turns out—PRETTY HARD. I’ve wanted to make one for a long time and there’s not a lot of info out there about doing that. But I gave it a try anyway. Did it float? TECHNICALLY! buff.ly/46BxgES

It’s kind of nice being a hot dog 🌭. I can sit back, relax, float, and open portals just like a real hot dog. It was really great to experiment with new materials and make my own pool float that really works. But the big question is how much can it take? buff.ly/4fyASeN

Old car, new tricks. I love driving my old FJ40 but it could use some comfort upgrades. I’ve wanted a center console for a LONG time but the fit had to be very specific. Today I got to try out 3D scanning and it worked perfectly. Check it out! buff.ly/3WGVFUN

The fit is perfect 👌. Using a 3D scanner to make a custom console for my Land Cruiser was an excellent way to upgrade this thing. I’ve shown several other ways that this type of thing can be done but I definitely enjoyed trying this out. buff.ly/3WGVFUN

I hate tripods. But I love the new camera stand I made. It allows me to move QUICKLY as I film around the shop and easily readjust for each shot. Check it out and see how it was made! buff.ly/3zcfprw

This camera stand is SO easy to use. I wish I had made one sooner. While you can buy a really awesome professional one for a hefty price, I decided to make my own for about 1/6 the price. And I love it. buff.ly/3zcfprw

Some projects are BORING—but they don’t have to be. I could have built another shelf for my spray can collection but this time I decided to challenge myself. I found a way to make use of unusable space and have fun doing it. Check it out! buff.ly/3XvoEvm

So. Many. Cans. But now they all have a home around a structural pole that otherwise was just an inconvenience. I really enjoyed the problem solving process in this one, and I hope you can do the same with your projects to make your own space work for you! buff.ly/3XvoEvm

In case you missed it, I jumped back into the Karmann Ghia to tackle some crucial panel replacement. It’s another step on the very long road to completing this thing. Will it ever be DONE? Yes and no. Check it out and you’ll see what I mean. buff.ly/3N1RgHt

What is it? I’m not going to say just yet. But I’ve wanted it for a while and I plan on using it a lot. We’re getting back into some good old woodworking and solve some problems along the way. Check it out! buff.ly/3BHrqq0

Did you guess right? This week I made a custom LEGO building tray that I can use on the couch. With magnetic dividers and a top that can hold instructions, this thing is super handy for a chill evening building LEGO. If you haven’t seen it, check it out! buff.ly/3BHrqq0
