Another thing: I'm old enough to remember that after Obama's 2012 reelection, the GOP's "autopsy" said immigration reform, a "softer" tone and "inclusion" were necessary for Republicans to win in the near term. How did that work out? Political winds can shift. And quickly.

This post has 4 million views and I've seen people from every side of the political aisle share it when it's actually just a right-wing propaganda account that made up a story about a podcast conversation, our media environment is cooked.

"The administration has terminated more than 80% of USAID grants. "A BU global health professor estimated these cuts have already resulted in about 300,000 deaths, most of them of children. "That is what Musk’s foray into politics accomplished." nytimes.com/2025/05/30/opi…

The biggest scandal in U.S. history is hiding in plain sight. The president and his family are boosting their wealth by $1 billion every month, selling the power and prestige of the White House Giving this a name - Cryptogate - and a roadmap. My column inquirer.com/opinion/trump-…

My main frustration with American politics right now is that so much political chatter is devoted to chastizing Democrats as out of touch or elitist, but Republican leaders say stuff like this all the time and don't face many consequences.

If people are going to call Democrats “elitist,” then comments like this from Republican Joni Ernst—and her party’s ongoing push to dismantle the social safety net—deserve more pushback

I'm repeatedly told it's the other party that has left the poor and working-class behind, talks down to them, and maybe even despise them. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Democrats are fighting for working-class policies while the GOP says "well we are all going to die" anyway.

They weren't just refugees. They were Nazis. Literal Nazis. The U.S. space program was led by Nazis. Most Americans don't know that, probably because that truth would be too uncomfortable for most people, so it is rarely taught.

Dude, why make up things about my post instead of just asking? Surely you aren't afraid of a back-and-forth built upon facts instead of whatever it is you just did here, right?

@ijbailey (@ijbailey) 's Twitter Profile Photo

These dudes seem incapable of intelligent discussion and debate. That's why they make up things, put those words in your mouth, then blame you for the distortions. It's weird. And weak.

Everyone needs to be clear about why she said this. It is in defense of a bill that very likely will lead to the deaths of more poor people as she and other Republicans cut needed aid to give rich people even more tax cuts. myrtlebeachonline.com/opinion/articl…

Trump says we're overrun by "illegals." He's manifested those fever dreams into reality thru a “de-documentation” campaign, stripping legal immigrants of visas & work permits. He's not targeting criminals; he's criminalizing immigrants who follow the law. wapo.st/3HvBBka

“'The executive order makes no attempt to hide the fact that it is cutting off the flow of funds to PBS because of the content of PBS programming and out of a desire to alter the content of speech,' the lawsuit says. 'That is blatant viewpoint discrimination.'”

I know Mark doesn’t plan to do any grappling. The racism and bigotry, the bragging about sexual assault, the inspiring a violent insurrection against the U.S., none of that matters more than hurting trans people.
