Looking northeast from Inishtrahull in ideal conditions (in this case a cold autumn sunrise) provides a panorama of the Scottish west coast and Western Isles. Decades of ring-reading show us how our wintering Barnacle Geese move back & forth regularly between Donegal and Islay.
