42.5” vert for Michigan State LB Ben VanSumeren (6016, 237). Would have ranked third among all participants in Indy this year, and would have tied the Combine record for LBs. (via Nolan Bianchi)

Just heard a few scouts had #MichiganState LB Ben VanSumeran in the 4.3s in the forty. At 237 pounds. He'd be one of just five OBLBs in last 25 years to run 4.4 or faster. Along with 29 bench reps and a 42.5 vert, VanSumeran is putting together a historic Pro Day. #ShrineBowl
