With all of the "teacher shortage" narrative, do any of your districts use exit interviews to find out why the teachers are exiting? Most districts don't so they can create their own version rather than fix what's broken. #NeverIEPAlone

Direct instruction it isn't about what curriculum the district uses for all students, it's about what your child needs to receive FAPE. They know the law, they count on being able to intimidate you. Define present levels & write SMART goals. Monitor progress like it's your job.

You cant believe what School Board say from the Dias. Watch how they vote and how they actually behave. Lot's of 🚬& 🪞instead of leadership. School Board seats are training grounds for higher office, they don't really care about teaching kids to read. Hard to believe, but 🎯

Enrollment in public schools in Florida is decreasing, some say due to vouchers. Do better public schools & kids won't exit. Teach reading with curriculum that is effective for all students, implement IEP's with fidelity. Stop perpetuating lies to parents. #FAPE #NeverIEPAlone

When you can't see a complete budget in your district, you know there are shenanigans. Constant complaints from teachers that can't get what they need, yet those legal budgets keep growing. Folks, it isn't really about education. Don't believe what they say, watch what they do.

States pay State agencies to defend the States , they should be defending students without voices or resources. These peeps are $ incentivized to fix nothing. Only If parents start understanding this & become vocal, will something will be done to correct the #brokensystem

Parents, "wait and see" is allowing more instructional failure. MTSS/RTI can be concurrent with evals. Ask for evaluations in writing, that starts the Federal timeline for compliance. Polite, but firm. Always in writing. #NeverIEPAlone
