المخفيُّون قسراً... كيف تكون الحياة انتظاراً مؤلماً بلا نهاية؟ حدث فنِّي ثقافي استضافته #بيروت حرَّك مواجع الروح راسمو البسمات على وجوههم، وهم يشكِّلون ببصمات أصابعهم أوراق شجرة تعرَّت من أخضرها؛ لا شك أنَّ غصَّة، بالتزامن، نغَّصت أشكالهم الفَرِحة. الحدث مؤلم، مُكلَّل بالحسرات.

آخر ذكراها عن أيمن أنه أخذ خاتم زفافها ليخطب به صديقته، لكنه اختفى مع اندلاع الحرب الأهلية في لبنان حين كان في الثانية والعشرين من عمره. ما زالت والدة أيمن نهاد تنتظره بالقرب من باب البيت، ليعود ويشاركها فنجان القهوة الذي كان يملأ قلبها دفئًا. #باب_البيت #اليوم_العالمي_للمفقودين

Since 1949, the #GenevaConventions have safeguarded human dignity in the darkest times. 📜 🌍Did you know these are one of the few conventions signed by all countries in the world? States and non-state #armedgroups must ensure these rules continue to save lives.

Today, the اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر في لبنان and the 🇨🇭 Embassy co-hosted a panel to mark the 75th anniversary of the #GenevaConventions. Our new Deputy Head of Mission, Vincent Pasquier, reaffirmed Switzerland's unwavering commitment to #InternationalHumanitarianLaw.

This year, we commemorate the 75th anniversary of #GenevaConventions. #ICRC in #Lebanon, with the #Swiss embassy, hosted a panel that brought together partners, diplomats, & officials to discuss the challenges of implementing #InternationalHumanitarianLaw in times of #conflict.

تجلس نهيل تنتظر زوجها قزحيا عند باب البيت، نفس البيت الذي شهد زواجهما ومولد أطفالهما الأربعة. اختفى زوج نهيل عام 1980، واضطرت نهيل وقتها أن تكون المعيلة لأطفالها. ولمدة 25 عامًا وحتى الآن، لم يعد قزحيا، وما زالت نهيل تنتظر. #باب_البيت #اليوم_العالمي_للمفقودين
