Before starting my PhD, Jennifer Doudna’s biography - Code Breaker - inspired me to explore deep learning for (RNA) biology. My #ICML2023 highlight was to connect with her and Jamie Cate at ICML-Compbio-Workshop, present my gRNAde poster to them, and be able to say thank you in person!
