My first take-away from Martins Paparinskis' great new article on compensation is that we all pronounce Chorzow wrongly. So I checked on Wikipedia and we have to say "Xorzuf" starting with a harsh Dutch-like g/ch. Great improvement!

In Pakistan, climate change is not a threat- it's a lived reality. 33 million affected by the devastating floods. Over 1000 people killed and 200k+ homes destroyed. Pakistan produces less than 1% of global carbon emissions but it's disproportionately affected by global warming.
