Today was Justice Sharon Lee’s last oral argument before her Aug. 31 retirement. She joined the Supreme Court in 2008 and previously served at Chief Justice. She has heard more than 1,500 appellate cases over her judicial career!

Life on this side is so fragile and only a brief moment. I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Representative Bill Beck. He was truly a large presence and a true statesman. May God bring comfort and grace to his family. Tennessee will miss you. 🕊️

It has been a wonderful experience hosting my first summer law clerks! Pat Brennan, a rising 2L at Belmont Law, completed his time with Part III on Friday. Mr. Brennan always went above and beyond for each assignment given! It has been a joy working with him!
