The #IASC Global Workshop on #PSEAH is taking place this week United Nations GSC in #Brindisi !

Over three days, 75 PSEAH experts will collaborate on: ▶️enhancing coordination

▶️supporting field capacity

There has been a lot of debate and finger-pointing about the challenges to getting aid to people in need in Gaza.

So, let’s settle this once and for all.

I have urged Israel to lift all impediments on aid to #Gaza .

Now this - MORE impediments.

UNRWA is the beating heart of the humanitarian response in Gaza.

The decision to block its food convoys to the north only pushes thousands closer to famine. It must be revoked.

Launching the Flagship Initiative is the first step to putting communities at the centre of humanitarian decision-making.

There is much work to do as we broaden new forms of community engagement, maximize local capacities and adapt to changing needs.
