Get ready, folks...the Climate Prediction Center official forecast is for above equal chances for a wet monsoon in Arizona. We are already seeing hints of this in medium range forecast models.

Rare moment with #michael #Eyewall mesovortices are similar, in principle, to small suction vortices often observed in multi-vortex tornadoes. Wind speed can be 10% higher than rest of eyewall. Also the radar is picking up a flock of birds in the #eye where it’s calm FOX 5 Atlanta

In bash, the command compgen -b will list all available shell built-in commands, it’s very nice. Anyone know of something similar for tcsh? Not having luck on google, but too afraid to ask stackexchange and get duplicused...

I found this very inspiring, Rahul Dubey of DC who sheltered ~50 protestors on #SwannStreet last night, after emerging, gave this interview to @WUSA9 and @slazo88 β€œOur flag is hanging by a string” #2020Protests #savejenny #1stAmendment #compassion

One of the rarest clouds ever. This was taken over Battle Mountain, Nevada, USA on 8 March 2018. It's called a horseshoe cloud for obvious reasons. #nvwx Credit goes to eagle-eye Christy Grimes.

Most people know that the magnetic north pole is not at the geographic north pole. It's drifting away from Canada towards Russia at a rate of 55km/yr. BUT, this year, the magnetic pole is closest to the geo pole. A separation of just 390km. ESA Earth Observation #Swarm #EGU18
