Notice what happens here. A bigger white girl is bullying a smaller girl. Kids are laughing, the teacher does nothing to stop it. A Black girl jumps in to defend her friend and starts beating the brakes off of the bully. The teacher jumps in to stop it. I wonder whyTE.

Three days ago, revival broke out at Asbury University. Students have remained night and day in Hughes Auditorium praying and worshiping Jesus. God is stirring the hearts of this generation. Praise His Great Name! #asbury #revival

What I love about this Asbury revival in Kentucky is that it is nameless and faceless. It’s not about personalities. It’s just people getting desperate for God. It’s Day #7 and the worship continues. Lord let this hunger come to every church, and let it spill into the streets.

Trauma makes you see someone's lack of effort as an invitation to try harder and prove your worth. Healing makes you see their lack of effort as their lack of interest in you and reminds you to stop forcing that connection.

Dr. Stanley's Bible, which he left opened to Job 36, had verses 8-12 highlighted. Verse 11 says, “If they listen and serve Him, they will end their days in prosperity, and their years in happiness.” Dr. Stanley listened, served, and was abundantly blessed. Now it’s our turn.

It’s easy to be amused when those you disagree with go through. But, it’s godly to pray for them and ask God to bring them through, and to keep you from walking that same way too. Be the blessing you’re called to be and not the pettiness the world wants you to be. #pray
