In 2023 we won the right for academic staff to be allocated the time it takes to do the work they are assigned. (we had to make that explicit?!!) We gathered evidence but management argues their view is enough to decide how long work (they don’t do) takes. This is #wageTheft!

The NTEU welcomes new governance principles for universities. The current system is completely broken. We will keep fighting to make universities exemplary employers. As a starting point that means reducing insecure work, ending wage theft and safer workloads.
