Most social media recommendations work based on what you read. And what you read is perhaps what was recommended to you. When was the last time you actually, intentionally added something new to your context? The only way that happens is with a search and read.

When the time from idea -> concept design -> prototype is shortened, it has a tremendous implication in terms of how we evolve applications.

Why isn't Google thinking big? What would a fundamental redesign of Gmail look like with the capabilities of today? This is a Nano Banana Pro design of a plausible interface. I generated this in 5 mins without even giving it much thought. What if I was the PM? 🤔

It took Google, an OpenAI coming out with ChatGPT to convert an idea to a product (Gemini and Nano Banana) despite having the minds who invented the transformer architecture. I sometimes wonder why? 🤔

This has the potential to reinvent entire software stacks and the potential to rethink how we have conducted our business in the past!

For me, technology (including programming) is a means to an end. If the end goal can be achieved in a better way, I am not too sentimental about the technology I use. Solving the problem matters more than the specific technology used.

I think most people's advice on SEO/GEO etc is broken. The future is to make your content such an immersive, interactive and personal experience that people will want to come to your site. AI crawlers and search engines can copy your content, not the interaction.

Your life is determined by the amount of uncertainty you're willing to embrace.

You don't magically become focused. You practice it. You notice you're distracted and snap out of it, over and over again until it's second nature. Most people have not trained this muscle, and they are not anywhere close to as focused as they think they are.

The primary reason people don't achieve big goals is because they don't realize that the only source of truth is making mistakes. They soak up advice and theory, expecting it to be an exact match to their mind, experience, and situation just to fail once and give up completely.
