Poignant display of original #WW1 grave markers at #Salisburycathedral Considering how many of these markers were originally made, I wonder how many survive today?

Another great display for @recoveringthepast. 3235 visitors viewed the work at #riddochartsandculturalcentre, taking its total visitor count to beyond 80,000. The long-term #consequencesofwar which this work explores are sadly and once again, daily news #dovosedee #EOD #PTSD

Autumn, France & Belgium,#ironharvest time again. Year on year, thousands of unexploded #WW1 shells emerge from the ground. Also a consequence of every war fought since and likely those to come; the message of forward-looking @recoveringthepast #photoexhibition

Faces of WW2. Pensive, apprehensive, cheerful. Who knows their stories? We cannot know - perhaps will never know - from photos so long separated from family. But they are Everyman. And we should remember them, #RemembranceDay

Not far from Tyne Cot Cemetery and the New Zealand Memorial in Zonnebeke a First World War ammunition dump with 80 live shells waw incovered. They included phosgene gas shells. Smoke but no harm. Some houses evacuated for a short period. vrt.be/vrtnws/nl/2023…

Remembering both past and present; a newly crafted image for #RemembranceDay, and a timely nod of acknowledgment to the relentless, ongoing work of #eod #bombdisposal teams around the world. Belgium’s #dovosedee in these 2 pics, my respect to the EOD community at-large.
