Your hands go everywhere with you and are proportionally sized to you. On game day, most hockey players should start with 1.5-2 cupped handfuls of carbs 1-2 palms of protein 1-1.5 fists of veggies/fruit 1-1.5 thumbs of fat with each meal on game day.
