We had a 👌day in #ArrowCanyonWilderness setting up new sedimentation rate & flood study with USGS NV Water Sci Center & Bureau of Land Management- Nevada! Extensive fines over the past ~100 years = big dunes in the background. + 100 yr old mesquite throughout canyon are loaded w flood impact scars

#HYTRACLab is also preparing for remote work, doing our part for vulnerable populations with #SocialDistancing. #Tellervo dendrochronology software is making this possible via remotely-accessed server (sending scopes home with students). Dendros, if you want to set this up PM me!
