one of my biggest pet peeves with talking about toku sometimes is yalls lack of ability to see further into a character or the things they say unless the show gives them an entire episode and tells you their development to your face and i see it the most with Kinjiro

Half the reason why we cannot get genuine readings of characters anymore is because people project too heavily on them and treat them as extensions of themselves so when the character is criticized it feels like a personal attack on their own personhood

honestly the reason my twt is dead is bc im telling myself every time I see a dumb take, I close the app instead of choosing to focus on it. I have to close the app very quickly every time.

"What does this mean for Gozyuger?" Now's not the time. I can imagine a couple of ways they'll move forward but that should be the least of anyone's worries. Please have some respect for her

sumino's still going down as one of the better highlights of gozyuger and maya brought a charm to this show that stood out so much from the others. i just hope everything will turn out positively for her because she's amazing. they can never take away how much of a gem she is

(reposting because i added some) no hate to op but i made my own because i disagree with alot of this.. feel free to share if you have differing thoughts. this is also obviously a western perspective, the untranslated games may be much more popular in japanese fandoms

some more rpg maker thoughts and eras(?). my knowledge is mostly around the middle two groups i have a lack of knowledge of much earlier rpgmaker 'horror'/'horror-adjacent' and ive not been keeping as up with new releases as i should be

I don't think it's unfair to say Rikuo gets more screen time than most of the other characters, but I wish ppl would stop acting as if he's the only character that gets focus period. The only Gozyuger without a full arc is Mashiro at this point.
