He found the sincerity of his response endearing, smile widening as he continued on with revealing his plans for the day. 〝 I’m glad. I’ve been awfully stressed from dealing with those 𝒅𝒆𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 officials lately. Let me treat you to a meal. 〞

If she pities him, she could always help ease this particular trouble of his.

How about she sits her pretty self down on his lap, and he’ll show her just how generous he can be.
