Letting go of those arms, Tex would pull Razíel into another firm hug. Seeing and hearing the reason would tug at Tex even if they were old scars for the other. "Don't say anymore. I don't want to hear more pain."

"I've dealt with enough pain while being around a succubus for a few years. That's why I came to Beel's place." It was still unknown about his eye and it might've been personal.

"Oh. Then why didn't you say so Razíel." He'd lower his shirt before rotating his arms for a brief moment. That was before grabbing the basket. "Heh. You know how to play a good joke but I love it. You got me a chew toy and some treats."

"It'll be good for when I sleep. I kinda chew on my pillow. You've got no idea how many times I woke up with fluff in my mouth." Like that, he'd take the chew toy out before actually biting on it.

He might've been a mountain of a hound but there was a bit of a puppy side to him. Tex was a gentle giant. "I love it!"

"We are one in the same." Granted Tex still had his eye but considering it's stark white appearance, it was injured and the scratch scar confirmed this. "We're both missing the same part."

"Well it's good to see you happy. Demons like us need to stick together." He'd take another bite of the chew toy before pulling it from his mouth.

"Yes. We're both missing the same piece." Cupping and rubbing that cheek with his oversized hand would keep his smile going. "Razíel. I'm sorry to ask but what happened to you. I don't remember how mine happened."
