We urge everyone to read this thread& to get educated about the ethnic cleansing that's happening RIGHT NOW. Remember that the Nakba in 48 begun w/ few villages no one paid attnetion to. They were opening act to a mass expulsion that's still ongoing. Don't let this happen again.

Devastating. The Khouri house stood among the remains of al-Bassa for decades. It survived so much& bore witness to the ongoing Nakba. To stop this path of death and destruction we must imagine & build a future of return & justice. Sorry Elias & the Koury family

1/ In yet another episode of displacement, the people of Um Al-Hiran in the Naqab awaken to the sight of their homes reduced to rubble. Another day begins, and once again, Israel pushes forward with its plan to erase our indigenous villages from the map

It was such a privilege to speak today at the Ways of Remembering Seminar for @off_university, a self-organization of politically persecuted scholars, who seeks new strategies to uphold academic life and knowledge threatened by anti-democratic and authoritarian regimes.
