Kai smiled softly, “I’m glad to hear that, at least I don’t have to beat anyone up on your behalf” he teased playfully giving her a gentle nudge with his shoulder. “I’ve been alright, mostly… for what I can remember” he laughed.

“I’m sorry to bother you sir… I just… I didn’t know who else to go to…” Kai sort of mumbled, looking down at his feet for a second before looking up to Mr. Warren. A look of slight fear spread across his face at the words he spoke.

Kai nodded softly a he ran his fingers through his hair, “Yeah” he paused for a second before rubbing his neck, “things have been… strange” he admits.
