CBC: 'Jones said Ontario added 10,500 HCWs since the start of the pandemic, including 762 internationally educated nurses, placed in 62 hospitals.' Almost all of these hires are in LTC. There are 20,000 hospital vacancies- with a vacancy rate of 12.6% for RNs and 10.24 for RPNs.
