Netflix just announced that it has secured the exclusive U.S. rights to the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2027 and 2031. The agreement also includes an exclusive documentary series leading up to both tournaments. Looks like Netflix is going all in on sports after all.

A situation unfolding with Qantas on Christmas Eve. Several passengers have been stranded at LAX for over 48 hours. Qantas communication exceptionally poor, at this stage it still isn’t clear how ~300 passengers will return to Aus. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day both missed.

Netflix put on a Super Bowl halftime show during the regular season that was broadcast to millions of people in 200+ countries. The NFL must be thrilled (and the league’s current TV partners must be wondering what the hell they are going to do if Netflix goes all in on sports).
